Bus Crash Edinburgh

On BBC Ceefax one page reported a bus had driven in to a crane, and another page said the crane had driven in to the bus.

The bit of machinery appears to be a power crusher – used for crushing building demolition rubble in to reusable sizes. From the size of the boom it doesn’t look like it would fit the other way arround on the lorry. It’s more likely the lorry was too short for the load. There also doesn’t appear to be the required flashing lights, warming plates etc.

As for who’s fault it was I suppose we’ll have to wait. To get that size of lorry round the corner it must have had to swing pritty wide anyway.
