Edinburgh’s way of paining double yellow lines
Edinburgh’s way of painting double yellow lines on roads
Put up signs saying that there will be no parking on the 24th March due to line painting. Then come along on the 23rd March (the day before) and attempt to lay as much double yellow lines as possible. Then you only need to put down a few cones in the places you missed.
What an excellent money saving idea! NOT!
What you do is put the cones out the day before you are due to paint the lines. The day of paiting send the parking wardens in and remove any remaining cars - you’ll get £150 for each of them. Then you can lay the lines without interuption, and in one pass.
