Take Away Review - New Palace, 214 Dalry Road

New Palace Chineese Takeaway

A wee Chineese Carry out just past the railway bridge on Dalry Road. It’s quite easy to miss it as it’s windows are smoked glass.

Ordered Chicken Cury, Boiled rice, Prawn Crackers and chips. Only had to wait arround 8 mins for the food so it was a good start. Total cost £8.

Started with the prawn crackers - they seemed to have been cooked to order and were warm. This is unlike other Chineeses where they appear to cook them in bulk at the start at the night - by the time you eat them they are cold and starting to solidify. 6/10

Chips - terrible. I won’t bother next time. French Fries style, over cooked, and rather cold. 1/10

Rice - perfectly edible. 6/10

Curry - a bit too hot for my taste but managed to eat half of it. Chicken was tender and tasty. 3/10 (because it was realy to hot for my taste)

Overage rating - 3/10

Would I be back? Probably - as it’s on my usual way home on a Saturday night. Might make another few purchases just to check, but will have to order something different.
